¡¡1- En el sexo tradicional, el foco está puesto en el resultado. En el sexo tántrico, el foco está puesto en el proceso.
Esta es la diferencia principal. De acá se desprende todo lo demás.
El resultado es algo preestablecido, a lo cual creemos que queremos llegar. Si llegamos, éxito. Si no llegamos, fracaso. Así vivimos casi siempre la sexualidad. Así, vivimos perdiéndonos de la maravilla singular de cada encuentro.
Cuando trasladamos el foco al proceso, el abanico de posibilidades que se abre es infinito. Tan infinito, que nos aterra, que nos abisma. Es más fácil estar en lo conocido, aunque sea una mierda.
El proceso puede ser placer y puede ser dolor, puede ser emociones que surgen del fondo y te pasan por encima, puede ser una conexión desbordante, una fusión extática, y también desconexión, ganas de retirarse. Y ninguna de estas posibilidades es un error. En un encuentro sexual tántrico, ninguna es mejor o peor que las otras. Simplemente, abrimos el espacio para eso que quiera suceder cuando nos encontramos. Y descubrimos el modo singular en que la relación quiere danzar, cada vez, su danza singular. Tomando el aprendizaje que cada encuentro nos ofrece.
2- En el sexo tradicional, partimos de certezas rígidas. En el sexo tántrico, nos abrimos en un estado de inocencia.
Si ya se adonde llegar, si ya sé exactamente lo que quiero vivir, todo lo que le siga será una coreografía, que realizaré con mayor o menor eficacia.
El sexo tántrico se trata de sembrar, en el encuentro, un estado de inocencia, donde podamos interesarnos con apasionada curiosidad por todo lo que es, y recibirlo amablemente, justo así como esté siendo.
A unx mismx, al otrx, a la relación, a la vida misma.
3- En el sexo tradicional, desconectamos emocionalmente. En el sexo tántrico, la consciencia emocional es elemental.
Muchas veces creemos que las emociones son una perturbación del encuentro sexual.
Para el Tantra, sin embargo, la energía emocional y la sexual es la misma. En la intensidad del encuentro sexual, la energía circula, despertando también toda la emocionalidad que estaba guardada. Y esa emocionalidad, ante todo, necesita ser validada y escuchada.
Cuanto más la intentamos reprimir o negar, más nos acaba pasando por encima, tarde o temprano.
Crear en el encuentro un espacio seguro para expresar cualquier emoción, sea tristeza, rabia, amor, ternura, o lo que sea, es clave si queremos tener un encuentro sexual realmente profundo y gustoso.
4- En el sexo tradicional, los cuerpos son un objeto. En el sexo tántrico, los cuerpos son procesos inteligentes.
Cuando el cuerpo es un objeto, cualquier manifestación suele considerarse un error a corregir. Así, las llamadas disfunciones sexuales, son simplemente un problema a resolver.
En la perspectiva tántrica, el cuerpo es un proceso inteligente, y todo lo que en ellos sucede tiene su razón de ser. Así, en lugar de querer resolver sus problemas, nos interesamos por el mensaje que cada una de sus manifestaciones nos está trayendo. A cada quién, y a la trama vincular en sí.

Por estas 5 razones nombradas, en el sexo tradicional vivenciamos un contacto superficial, que nos deja vacíxs, anhelando más sexo, o netlix, o drogas, o lo que sea, mientras que el sexo tántrico nos habilita un contacto profundo.
El contacto siempre es con lo que está siendo, sea incómodo o placentero, bello u horrible. Si entramos plenamente en el contacto, algo siempre terminará pleno, abierto a tomar el aprendizaje justo que el encuentro estaba ofreciendo.
Recordemos siempre que no se trata de hacer del sexo tántrico una nueva meta a la que llegar… ¡porque ya no sería tántrico!
Se trata de invitarnos a iniciar un viaje de transformación, un camino sinuoso de lugares que se van ablandando, y otros que se van cerrando, y otros que se abren, y otros que se cruzan, y así.
Y que, en todo momento, ser acompañadxs en la práctica es fundamental, para ir distendiendo las corazas, y habilitando una amable transformación.
