Todxs recibimos una herencia financiera. Y no solo dinero, propiedades o deudas.
Heredamos un cierto modo de vincularnos con el dinero. Modo que replicaremos todo el tiempo, de forma inconsciente, condenándonos a distintos bucles de sufrimiento.
Primero necesitamos entender lo primero:
en nuestra cultura, el dinero es algo que todo el tiempo está presente.
Nuestro sistema de organización socioeconómico implica necesitar el dinero para el intercambio continuo de bienes.
Como contamos en gran profundidad en nuestra clase gratuita introductoria al vínculo con el dinero, el gran problema surge cuando el dinero se desconecta de un medio para lo realmente necesario para nuestro buenvivir, y se transforma en un fin en sí mismo.
O sea: buscar insaciablemente dinero, ya ni sabemos para qué. O sufrir cuando no está, aunque tengamos todo lo que necesitamos.
El tema es que de distintas formas, todxs somos herederxs de un patrón de carencia.
Percibimos la falta. Y creemos que esa falta se puede suplir con algo que no tiene nada que ver con esa falta -como dinero, fama o poder.
En este artículo vamos a explorar algunos de los principales patrones de herencia financiera. ¡Contanos cuál te resuena!
Pacto de pobreza
El pacto de pobreza significa fundamentalmente que, si mi familia vivió en complicaciones financieras continuas, yo no puedo de la nada estar en un buen pasar económico. Debo sufrir tanto como ellxs.
O bien me condeno a vivir con el mismo pesar económico que ellxs, o bien, en caso de estar en un buen momento financiero, aparece la culpa de que te esté yendo bien, y buscás ocultárselo a tu familia.
El pacto de pobreza también suele ser una especie de acuerdo implícito que sobrevuela ciertos ámbitos culturales. Me pasa mucho en el ámbito artístico y en el académico. Como si el dinero fuera un demonio que nos subyuga. Todxs lo padecemos. Pero si empezás a verlo de otra forma y transformás tus finanzas, te transformás en pecadorx.
Si alguno de estos casos te resuena, te pregunto:
¿te podés imaginar una vida donde el dinero no signifique carencia y sufrimiento?
¿Te podés imaginar el dinero circulando a grandes caudales en tu vida, y gozándolo mientras tanto?
¿Qué sensaciones aparecen ante estas posiblidades?
¡Te invito a escribirlo y comenzar a explorarlo!
Debo salvar al clan
Otra de las grandes herencias financieras que pesa en nuestros hombros es la de salvar al clan. Ese clan que tanto ha sufrido por no tener, depende ahora de vos.
El dinero es la vía de salvación del clan, con la cual le vas a poder transformar la vida a tus xadres y abuelxs que tanto han sufrido.
La imagen de esto es Maradona dándole la llave de un departamento a su madre. ¿Podés resonar con el poder de esa imagen?
Si esto te resuena, te pregunto:
¿reconocés el peso en tus hombros de este mandato de salvación?
¿Podés reconocer que, si bien tus xadres han sufrido, vos podés también disfrutar?
¿Te imaginás conversando con tus xadres e imaginar con ellxs caminos que relajen tu peso?
La preocupación como mandato
Otro patrón se basa en un estado de constante preocupación, que no va acorde a la realidad financiera. Aprendimos que el dinero es algo que preocupa. No importa si es real que estamos sin un peso, o si nos está yendo bárbaro. El riesgo de la carencia es muy grande. Incluso si estamos en un buen momento, debemos estar preocupadxs, esperando siempre lo peor. ¿Te suena?
Si es así, te pregunto:
¿reconocés que, sin importar tu realidad financiera, vivís en la tensión de una constante expectativa catastrófica?
¿Sos consciente de tus números reales actuales, y las proyecciones sobre esos números?
¿Qué acciones concretas podés hacer hoy en dirección a llevar una economía más distendida? (entendiendo lo distendido como el vínculo entre lo que necesitamos, lo que podemos y el esfuerzo que nos implica)
¿Podés empezar a generar un espacio de confianza, dentro de las mareas financieras, que te contenga tanto en momentos distendidos como en crisis financieras reales?
Ahorrar para sobrevivir
De la mano va la idea muy instalada de que la mejor forma de gestionar el dinero, es ahorrando. Creemos que en la constante acumulación nos aseguramos algo de nuestro futuro.
No está nada mal tener un ahorro para tiempos de crisis, es muy necesario.
Pero también, si queremos vivir en la distensión financiera, es clave comprender que el dinero necesita circular para cumplir su función hacia el buenvivir personal y comunitario.
No hay nada mejor que invertir el dinero en los proyectos coherentes con tu propósito.
Si esto te resuena, te pregunto:
¿hay un ahorro base que te deje tranquilx? ¿Es un número fundamentado, o una suposición?
¿De qué te serviría este ahorro en una catástrofe real?
¿En qué podrías invertir parte de tu dinero, en dirección de aquello que acompañe la manifestación de tu propósito?
La vara muy alta
Papá se esforzó, mamá se esforzó, lxs abuelxs se esforzaron. Y les fue bien. Construyeron cosas enormes.
Debo demostrar que soy parte de este clan. Debo ser igual de exitosx que ellxs.
Entonces, vivís toda tu vida a través de la idea de éxito que has heredadx de ellxs. Donde además representan un ideal que suele ser inalcanzable.
En este caso no hay ningún vínculo entre el dinero y las necesidades reales del buenvivir personal y comunitario de cada quién, ni hay espacio para manifestar el propósito singular, pues siempre está teñido por la idea de éxito heredada. ¡Qué presión tan incómoda!
Si esto te resuena, te pregunto:
¿te através a revisar cuánto dinero realmente necesitás para un buenvivir?
¿Cuánto de eso que considerás buenvivir es una idea de éxito heredada, y cuánto se apoya en un registro corporal real de distensión, salud y plenitud?
¿Te através a vivir realmente de lo que amás y lo que tenés para dar al mundo, aunque tal vez no sea tan redituable económicamente?
El dinero tabú
Estamos hablando de dinero. Un montón. En casa no se habla de dinero. Nunca supe en qué situación económica estamos.
Cuando el dinero es tabú, se vive en una estabilidad ilusoria, mientras todo el peso de la economía familiar recae en unx de sus miembrxs, que es le unicx que está al tanto de los números reales. El resto vive en una pantalla dada por distintos lujos que en realidad no se están pudiendo cubrir.
Si esto te resuena, te pregunto:
¿podés reconocer el peso de que toda la situación económica recaiga sobre vos?
¿Te podés imaginar compartiendo tu situación económica con alguien de confianza?
¿Podés imaginarte compartiéndola con las personas realmente implicadas en esa situación?
¿Qué sentís en tu cuerpo al imaginarlo?
Eternamente niñx
La vida económica está resuelta. Entonces, ¿para qué hacer algo al respecto? Descanso en el lecho infinito de mamá y papá.
Esto, que no es una situación del niñx, sino sistémica, se da en ocasiones cuando la vida financiera está resuelta, y le niñx sabe que recibirá siempre todo lo que haga falta.
El doblez de esto se da en que tal vez eso no sea real, y esx niñx, que ya es adultx, no aprendió nada sobre la gestión de sus finanzas.
De fondo está la idea de que hay que evitarle a ese niñx encontrarse con el mundo real, que es hostil.
Si esto te resuena, te pregunto:
¿sos consciente del nivel de deuda que viene implícito en este tipo de vínculo familiar? (deber devolver esto, básicamente, con qué hacés y qué no hacés, con cómo vivís tu vida)
¿Te podés imaginar comenzando un camino hacia tu autonomía financiera?
¿Te através a sacrificar lo que tengas que sacrificar para iniciar este camino?
¿Dinero y disfrute? Jamás
Nos vamos acercando al final.
En todos estos ejemplos, el dinero nunca va de la mano del disfrute.
Es un patrón que todxs, de distintas formas, hemos heredado.
Creo que una de las grandes transformaciones que necesita vivir nuestro vínculo con el dinero es que comience a estar de la mano del disfrute compartido.
Cuando esto no está unido, nos volvemos depredadores de nuestros ecosistemas naturales y vinculares. El estado de no disfrute nos vuelve insaciables. Y vamos destruyendo todo a nuestro alrededor, buscando saciar algo que no se sacía.
Retejer el vínculo con el dinero es comenzar a comprender que éste está al servicio de nuestro disfrute individual y comunitario.
Y que incluso las actividades que lo generan pueden ser una fiesta!
Ya está, ya sobrevivimos. Es casi imposible, si estás leyendo esto, que vayas a morir de hambre. Si bien hay mucha gente que, por este vínculo patológico que tenemos con el dinero, sí está muriendo de hambre. Pero no si estás leyendo esto.
Tendrás momentos de más lujos, y momentos de más frugalidad. Pero tu economía está, en mayor o menor medida, resuelta.
Aunque la herencia de guerras y carencias viva en nuestros cuerpos, y nos quiera hacer sentir lo contrario.
Es hora de transformar nuestro vínculo con el dinero, para comenzar a trazar los caminos hacia una vida plena y ecológica.
